The Aotearoa Health Economics Network (AHEN)

We are a diverse group, with many voices, connected by an interest in health economics. We practice health economics in many ways, including pharmacoeconomic evaluation, health analytics and system planning, and academic research spanning preferences for better health and care to costs of healthcare and disease. We work across many settings, from central government to academia and the private sector.

We aim to create a space for members to connect and learn about interesting and relevant developments in health economics in New Zealand.

Until 2026, our group was the New Zealand chapter of ISPOR.
