Our next webinar will be held at 10am on Wednesday 5th October. “Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis: determining benefits-related criteria and weights for prioritising health technologies – a New Zealand case study” will be presented by Dr Trudy Sullivan from the University of Otago. Trudy is a health economist consultant at the Dunedin School of Medicine, and a lecturer in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine. Trudy's main research interests lie in the areas of health economics and programme evaluation, public health and wellbeing, and the use of multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) in priority-setting. She has used MCDA to develop frameworks that can be used by decision-makers to prioritise publicly-funded services including health care. In this presentation she will explain the basics of MCDA and discuss how it can be practically applied using a New Zealand health care case study as an example.
The webinar is free to members (so think about joining ISPOR if you haven’t already – we have two more webinars booked in for this year) or $25 for non-members. Reserve your place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
