Presenter: Associate Professor Richard Milne
Date and Time: 11am on Thursday 9th March
Markov modelling is a technique used to predict the lifetime costs and benefits of healthcare interventions. PHARMAC accepts economic models that are based on either Excel or TreeAge software (which is more visual and simpler to use, but quite expensive). In this webinar we will start from scratch and show how a Markov model is assembled using TreeAge software. If there is sufficient interest, there will be a follow-up session at a later date.
Dr. Richard Milne is a consultant in economic evaluation and Associate Professor at the University of Auckland. He has been using TreeAge software for over 20 years and has made many successful submissions to PHARMAC and the Ministry of Health over that time, and some unsuccessful ones. That's life!
This webinar is FREE to members of ISPOR or $25 for non-members. Please register your interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
